"We only spent the night but absolutely loved this Bed and Breakfast. Rubina and Giacomo were wonderful hosts. They work very hard, their food is very fresh, everything grown on the property. The views from the balcony were stunning. The walls are very thin, so you can hear your neighbors, but it was fine. I would return in a heartbeat. "

"We stayed at Villa Palamara at the end of three weeks in Italy and Sicily. It was the most special stay in a very beautiful property. The villa and outbuildings have been thoughtfully divided into a few different apartments and ours had a fabulous sea view from a little balcony in the kitchen dining area. "If you want a place away from it all this is it. It consists of a few apartments in the hills about 15 minutes from the coast. The place was really clean and had everything required. Our apartment had views out to the sea and it was great sitting on the terrace having breakfast overlooking everything. Giuseppe was super helpful, and available most of the day. The little shop was a great help, it was good to get some fresh croissants and bread each morning. Our son loved all the animals on site,...

"The Manager let me use the garden hose to clean my hire car, and also lent me a bucket and sponge, which was very sociable). The Dinner was great - grilled swordfish. However, the breakfast was supposed to be a Buffet, whereas it was biscuits and package spreads with 1/2 a cup of lukewarm coffee."

"Salemare Rooms and Suites was truly a perfect hotel experience. Every detail was well thought out and their staff from check-in, to breakfast, to housekeeping was incredibly warm and competent. Giuseppe went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay, giving us great local recommendations and even making his personal phone line available for us to ask questions. Breakfast was amazing, we loved how the daily offerings changed and the ingredients were so fresh I found myself craving their delicious produce all day. I don’t think we could have picked a more ideal location. A block from the beach, the Salemare felt like it was in the middle of it all, perfectly located between old and new Cefalù, everything was walkable. The minibar was well curated, provided beach towels were plush and luxurious, we loved the drying rack on the balcony, housekeeping was impeccable, toiletries were ample and smelled great, the TV had multiple languages and options like YouTube and Netflix, the marble floors were even more beautiful than in the pictures, the shower created a spa-like experience, and air conditioning almost worked too good…. With only two seasons under their belt: Guiseppe and his family are truly setting the standard for hotels everywhere. We will be day dreaming about this property and beautiful Cefalù until we return. "
