"The rooms are not overly clean- lots of dust. The tv in the room is horrible. It would not respond to the remote easily - very delayed. Also you can’t connect your device to the tv like other hotels to stream. You have to pay for movies - old school and limited and faulty as wouldn’t always play the movie. Had to call reception to have Maintence come up. Even then it struggled to work. The Mayfair reception staff didn’t even know the in room iPad could book a taxi. As we booked one for advance and it hadn’t been actioned. The prices of the rooms is over priced in my view for the quality and amenities provided. The breakfast was average. Waffles were always out of stock at the buffet and not refilled. "

"The check in & check out was good the room was clean & comfortable & breakfast was inexpensive and good quality. The carpet in the breakfast room needed to be replaced. "

"University area,mostly eating establishments,quick takeaway’s rooms need upgrading,our fridge made a constant humming noise and carpet around was wet,reported and someone did come and check but nothing else was done.After our room was “cleaned”there were coffee stains still on area around kettle.no shower mat or grab handles,warned by guest to be careful as she had slipped the day we arrived and her arm was injured needing a hospital appointment.Staff were friendly."
