This property was quite literally built to highlight the best aspects of seaside living and allow you to maximise your precious the time on Tassie's East Coast.

With ample on-site parking on dual driveways, and additional street parking if required, your arrival to Orford Coastal Retreat will be a breeze.

Enter the property to explore the flowing open-plan and contemporary Hamptons-inspired interior. With polished concrete floors, a modern island kitchen, and plenty of indoor entertaining space, this purposely-designed interior is both functional and stylish.

But why spend time indoors when you can relax in a hammock and let “the world pass you by” in the spacious backyard and al-fresco dining area? This manicured garden and private area comes complete with a large concrete woodfired pizza oven, two dining areas, fire pit and plenty of grass for the kids and dogs to enjoy.

At the end of your day, relax under the al fresco heater or move inside to watch television on the large Sony Smart TV with all of your favourite channels and apps available.

Thereafter, retreat to one of the four bedrooms: (1) master with queen bed and en suite; (2) one queen guest room in the front of the house (3) another double guest room on the side of the house (closer to the main bathroom); and (4) the kids/bunk room in the converted and carpeted garage.

All of the bedrooms are well-spaced throughout the property and none of them share a wall.

This property is ideally situated in the central area of Orford :

- please note the maximum occupancy is 6 adults and 2 children / infants.

- short walk: only a two minute walk to the local park or white sandy Millingtons beach, and five minutes walk to the local IGA supermarket, post office and cafe. It is 12 minute walk across the bridge to Blue Waters Hotel.

- short drive: enjoy a short drive to acclaimed golf courses, pristine Spring Beach (with views of Maria Island), award-winning wineries such as Darlington Estate and Boomer Creek.

- longer drive: take the world-famous East Coast Drive to award wineries such as Miltons, Devils Corner, Gala, Springvale and more or visit Swansea, Freycinet National Park, Coles Bay, Bicheno and beyond.
House Rules:
We have only four house rules which are important to adhere to and a condition of your booking:
1) Dogs are not permitted in the bedrooms or on the two indoor couches (please respect that the next guests may be allergic);

2) Quiet hours start at 10pm on weekdays and 10.30pm on weekends (please respect our neighbours and the community);

3) No smoking within the house or near the doors (please use the dedicated space in the backyard); and

4) Furniture should not be moved or should otherwise be returned to its original location (please respect our cleaners' backs!).
