Couple getaway

Easy to find place, situated in a perfect location across from the beach. Very bright, spacious and comfortable setting. Receives the afternoon sun and can get quite warm but unfortunately air con didn’t seem to work very well.

Gorgeous view

Gorgeous view, modern, warm & clean. Heaps of room for our family. Loved the games supplied. Our most expensive stay for one night but we were very comfortable.

Would benefit from flyscreens on main windows so one can take advantage of breeze on hot days. Also clients should check carefully the inside of the oven, fridge and microwave on arrival so avoid unpleasant surprises.

Brilliant views over the bay and an easy walk to the beach (about 2 mins on an established footpath). Great set up with ample living space and a wonderful deck to take in the views.

This is a very well kept and clean property. We stayed here a number of years ago and things have just got better. The property had every thing we needed, the view is just excellent and the beach is safe with very few people.

Nice, clean, comfortable house with great view. Only negative is that we boiled the water as is it rainwater. It seemed a big deal at first but actually wasn’t really a problem. Also, only had one knife and we cooked in a bit so this was an inconvenience which can be easily remedied by adding a paring knife. These are small issues compared with how lovely and comfortable the house is to stay in. I would recommend it.

Beachcomber dream spot

After a long trip around Tasmania, this was the ideal location to wrap up our stay. With the creature comforts of home, right down to the finest detail, cooking a home made meal, sipping a wine on the balcony watching and listening to the ocean waves was pure heaven. So close to the beach for a stroll. With a chilly first evening, some extra instructions on how to use the heating system would have helped, but luckily the fluffy blankets were in the cupboard to take the freshness out of the night air.

A comfy, cozy apartment with an amazing view.

I highly recommend Footprints1 for a family or two couples. We stayed in Apartment #1 and the view of the Lake was amazing. I loved getting up early and bringing my coffee back to bed in the Master Suite to enjoy an the view. Our apartment was very clean well furnished and I was especially impressed with the collection of books magazines and board games for our use.
