Depending on where your room is located, you will hear the garbage trucks removing trash at 6:00am. In the evening the glass recycling bin is also next to the dumpster and you will hear many glass bottles being deposited as staff members finish cleaning up.     "An historic building, convenient to everything on the Royal Mile. Also its lower level entry is super convenient to arrival from the train station, literally across an uncrowded Market Street. Wonderful rooms with sunlight, tastefully appointed. The timely limited access will soon be fixed by a second elevator being installed in the hotel. The staff was always helpful (though the laundry lost two of my dress shirts). I enjoyed my stay immensely."

    "This hotel was definitely not the nicest I’ve stayed in but it had character that made up for it. It was a phenomenal location and everything we wanted to get to was very close by.
