Find a Great Motel Old Adaminaby

"We had a great stay despite the rainy weather. The house was very well equipped with the fireplace and aircon in the main living area, oil heaters in the rooms and the wall heater in the bathroom were appreciated!The beds were very comfortable and the house had lovely little touches including condiments, soaps/washes, coffee and tea, and a block of chocolate the kids demolished in sight! We'd love to stay again in drier weather to enjoy the balcony, bbq and beautiful outlook over the water."

"After an 8 hour drive, we had issues getting into the house, as the code provided didnt work and so then we had to find where the lock box was located and find the key, which can only be used on the front door! We had no reception or wifi the entire time we where there, we reset the router countless times and there was no internet access... but we couldnt call and ask for help because we also had no phone reception! No tv available either as there is no aerial so without internet there is no TV! The house was not clean, the floors where dirty and the lounges and carpets where stained and had crumbs/dirt all over them. The hot water kept going freezing cold half way through a shower, requiring us to turn off the tap and start again! The light fitting in the bedroom was half hanging out of the roof with wires exposed. The only way to keep the house warm was to have both the fireplace and aircon running at the same time! The beds where comfortable but the linen was stained and looked dirty. There was not a good supply in the kitchen, we had to share 1 knife to eat a steak! For the price we paid for 4 nights, we certainly expected more. Very disappointed in this property!"

"Great holiday rental, clean, well stocked. The fireplace was amazing and the flannelette sheets so comfy. Everything was great except the internet which was dismal, we also had 0 phone reception (Vodaphone & Optus) this was a challenge but great option if visiting Mt Selwyn. "

"We loved our stay, thank you for having us! The land and the cottage are so beautiful. We were close enough to everywhere we wanted to go while still feeling like we had a quiet place all to ourselves. Everything was well maintained and we were spoilt for amenities - it was really convenient having all the basic pantry items in the kitchen and not having to bring linen meant we could pack light. The instructions and guest information were helpful and clear, and the hosts were very fast to respond to messages. I'd love to stay again sometime!"

"Very comfortable and pleasant stay. Beds were comfy and warm. Great to have firewood and kindling splitter provided for the fire- the fire made it special. Kitchen was well equiped- just note that there is no oven. Lovely bushland setting. Dinner at the Snow Goose Hotel was great too. We enjoyed our stay very much, thank you."

"The cottage is lovely and it is located in a beautiful quiet spot at Anglers Reach. When we arrived it had been snowing which was very exciting and we enjoyed walking down to check out the lake. There were lots of birds, kangaroos and wombats and it was a nice scenic drive to the snow. Jenni and Pete are very friendly and easy to communicate with which made organising our stay stress free."

"I came to town for a low key respite holiday, to have a look at the mountains and to enjoy some quiet, and was rewarded! Thank you for the clean space and plenty of fluffy pillows. Dinner at the pub is an easy walk, all within the majesty of the snowys."
