Taka-san was friendly and in fluent English explained all the important stuff like where Jacuzzi, Showers, Breakfast, Tea etc were. Traditional breakfast was also nicely described.
He helped us dispose old luggage at extra cost, per regulation.
Good service. Clean place. Convenient location.

Location is amazing. Central to trains, convenience stores, eateries, police, banks…you name it.
Communication with staff was excellent through the chat function of our Expedia boooing. Responded quickly with good information.
There are washer/dryer machines on-site. The wash function works perfectly, the drying will take a long time. This seems standard though for dryers in Japan. I had a load drying in for 2 hours and it was all still damp. We ended up just hanging it all up in our room on...

So pleased. The location is perfectly on the edge of the busy city and everything is a walkable distance with how efficient the trains run.
I will be staying here again when I come back to Japan

Hi would highly recommend staying here as it is a very authentic Japanese experience. The tatami beds are surprisingly comfortable and we really enjoyed our time here, it’s close to Gotanda station and supermarket/ family mart are very close by. Please keep in mind that the walls are quite thin so its important to keep quiet to respect other guests, also you can hear the train as it goes past but that didn’t us at all.
