Can’t say enough good things about No. 17! We loved the decor and the assorted cozy gathering spaces. Lovely view of the harbor from the front room and a cozy salon to enjoy drinks and games. Our room was so comfy and the staff is very friendly and attentive. We had the best breakfast on our trip here - brioche french toast and eggs Benedict. Location is not far from town and parking is convenient. Stay here!!

We loved our stay at No17 Promenade. Despite a skeleton staff due to some sickness, those that were on hand were excellent and couldn’t do enough for us. The room was lovely and spacious, the breakfast plentiful and the food in the restaurant in the evening (Porcini) was a real highlight!

Incredible stay!
My stay at No17 The Promenade is without doubt one of the best experiences I've had at a hotel. The location and decor is magnificent, and the staff were so attentive. The food and drinks menu is extensive, and everything was prepared with real attention to detail. A beautiful place, many thanks indeed.

Enjoyed our 2 nights stay here. Although it’s situated around the promenade and should be within minutes to restaurants, it rained everyday so didn’t have much opportunity to walk around. The hotel is very well decorated and we literally spent our 2 days in hotel. Food options were decent.

This was by far one of our favorite stays during a Scotland trip. The hotel is relatively renovated (2022) and provides a luxury stay with affordability. Breakfast was included and ready for us at our selected time (and it was wonderful). There are several lounge areas with fire places, books, games, and seating if you would liks to leave the room but not the hotel. It overlooks the Bay and is walkable to most of downtown Oban. The staff provided excellent suggestions, such as the Oban Inn, and this was the highlight of our trip. If we make it back to Scotland, this will be our stay of choice. Cannot recommend enough.

We stayed here during recent trip. The building was easy to find and parking was easy. The decorations were very stylish. We liked our room a lot and would recommend staying here. It is an easy walk to downtown. Breakfast was tasty and they offered many good options.

So glad we decided to stop in Oban for this stay! It was beautiful and so unique. The decor is stunning and the staff is so helpful. Even not getting one of the parking spots didn't deter my excitement at seeing/staying at this amazing place.

The property was very well kept and very tidy. The staff we're amazing and nothing was to much trouble, room was cosy and warm, bed was lovely and comfortable, room was very clean and tidy. Bathroom was lovely and clean, rain fall shower was amazing, easy to control. Food was amazing, compliments to the chef (amazing food) and waiting staff for there attentiveness through breakfasts and dinners, only complaint is that we couldn't stay for longer. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Restored late 1800:s mansion with an excellent restaurant on site. Staff were spot on, friendly, helpful and apparently very happy working with each other. Overlooks the oban bay; close to City centre but not in the midst of the hub bub.

Really enjoyed our two night stay. Staff was excellent, food was incredible, restored Naval hospital to hotel created excellent ambiance....the only down side was the lack of air conditioning during a hot season. We were reluctant to open our sliding glass door since there is no screen to keep the bugs out. Otherwise a very nice stay.

Lovely weekend in Oban. Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. Room we had was quite small but had everything we needed. We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel - both well presented and good quality. We will definitely stay again if in Oban.

This hotel is Fabulous, immaculately clean and modern with staff that cannot do enough for you nothing is a problem! The ONLY possible improvement would be air conditioning but in Scotland this is very really an issue!! Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely sensational stay in all respects. This hotel exceeded our expectations - the staff could not do enough to please and yet they were never intrusive. The hotel is absolutely stunning with amazing interior design and little touches that make the stay luxurious and relaxed. The food is also top notch and breakfast the best of anywhere we have ever stayed. On-site parking is free and easy.

Beautifully decorated, lovely hotel, Just a short walk into town. Only issue we had was VERY small rooms and we were told the beds were King sized but they were extremely small. I don’t even think it was a queen bed (perhaps even a double.) And they don’t have any twin rooms.
