House was clean; Beds were very comfortable; kitchen had everything one needed to cook. We made breakfast, lunch (packed for hiking/exploring)and dinner. Location was perfect for both relaxation and proximity to Yosemite.House has a cozy cabin-like and relaxing vibe yet lots and lots of room with modern kitchen. Very quiet neighborhood with the sound of wild turkeys and other wildlife. My wife and I traveled with my adult daughter and we had more room than needed. Owner was easy to work with.We would definitely come back

My friends and I were so excited to stay at this property as it was a great location, only about 30 mins from the entrance to Yosemite. The first night was great! Until I woke up in the morning with a bite on my face. I thought it was a spider, nothing the host can do about that, totally understand. My friend thought she felt something "run across her face" but was unsure. We later found a mouse/rat poop on another guest's pillow. So we can assume a mouse ran across her face that night. The last night we also found bed bugs in the bed I was sleeping in, which is what bit my face and 10 other spots on my body. The final morning we were packing up and saw mouse poop all in the kitchen cabinets. Gross.
I contacted both the host and Expedia/Vrbo and did not get the best treatment. I had to fight for a partial refund. Initially got a $100 giftcard for a future stay. I fought for cash refund and got $200 out of the total $950. I fought further for the cleaning deposit, which was $150, and they were not going to give it to me until I fought for it some more.
Very disappointed with how this trip went, I understand things happen, but the disrespect while trying to get our money back, was not okay. We should have gotten the full refund.

Liked: Location
Pros: Host was very responsive about questions/requests. A big basket of assorted Keurig pods was more than enough for our stay. Great location due to its close proximity to Yosemite. Sadly, we didn’t get time to hike the Lewis Creek Trail that was nearby (next time, for sure!). Bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable, which our creaky backs appreciated. Ceiling fans in all the bedrooms and family room helped keep air circulating. Having air-conditioning was definitely a major plus, as it was pretty warm during our stay. The gas grill out back looked brand new and worked perfectly. The neighborhood was peaceful and made it easy to sleep soundly. The wild turkeys wandering the neighborhood during the day were entertaining. Cons: Although the cabin was very clean, the carpeting had several stained areas that needed to be cleaned. The extra space (game room?) was not air-conditioned, and was too warm in June to spend any time in. The door from that room that led to the back porch needs to be repaired. It sticks really bad (I wasn’t able to open it without my husband’s help) and should be fixed so as to allow an easy escape route, in case of emergency. The stair railings were under construction, and were pretty unstable. All of the porches and railings could use some repairs/updating. In our opinion that would be a major draw for people wanting to rent this cabin in the future.
Lovely home in a great spot. Well equipped house in every way, warm and inviting.

Cute cabin, and we liked the privacy. The biggest issue were stair railings that were lose and falling apart. They did have yellow tape to warn. But we’re extremely dangerous. These should be fixed before renting again. Could also use more bath towels.
Nice and hidden cabin outside of Oakhurst, nearby Corlieu Falls to hike. The cabin itself is in decent condition for the price, A/C definitely cools off the home quickly. Great forest views all around it is about a mile off the main freeway. Relaxing and peaceful if you like to sit out and enjoy the nature noises and clean air. It is about 30 mins from Chukchansi casino as well, we went to eat and play for a bit one evening. We will definitely consider staying in the cabin again in the future.
