"While there was an issue at check-in (no record of my free breakfast, and an additional $15/night fee which was more than the $12/night previously emailed), hotel management made it right. The staff and the service was fantastic, as was the food. The hotel is safe and the view from the room was fantastic! It was weird sharing a balcony with another room, but luckily we never saw or heard our neighbors. It's a lovely place, ESPECIALLY as an Expedia VIP member with the perks!"

"The staff gives great customer service and everyone is very friendly & helpful. We arrived on a Friday, and unfortunately by Sunday afternoon we got sick from something we had eaten. Other guest who came to the wedding got sick too :( We never left the property, we had all the meals there. It’s very important to extreme safety measures when handling/having food seating outdoors for the guests. It will be greatly appreciated "

"Just arrived home from 7 days at Occidental with our 2 kids (7 & 3). Food was great and the service was excellent. Liked that the wristbands had the room keycards integrated into them. Didn't upgrade to royal level and honestly dont feel that we missed any of the "perks" associated with it. Our room was amazing with a great view from the 4th floor - only complaint was we wish we had anking sized bed and sofa bed in our room rather than 2 doubles. Will definitely be back!!!!"
