"Overall a decent hotel. A few things I'll mention... The bathroom lighting is not great. The shower water pressure is not great. They charge for the bottle of waters they stock everyday in your room.. Bottles of water should be FREE! Plus there was nothing saying they charge for the water. Oh and the toilet paper they use is very cheap stuff.. Why don't hotels and other establishments cut a deal with Costco to use their Kirkland Toilet paper? The bed mattresses should be changed out... That's my take on this Hotel."

"The stay was wonderful. Everything was great, except there was no parking! Their paid parking lot is very small. On the particular day that I stayed the parking lot was filled and I had to park a block away from the hotel. I did not feel safe walking back to the hotel at night."

"This was the perfect home and location for a celebration of life event we were holding for our father. Very well equipped and comfortable. I would suggest a keypad for the entry doors and garage which would have made things easier for our group. Gina and Keith were excellent hosts."

"Loved this home in Rogers Park! We came from a recommendation from a friend that stayed with their family last summer and it lived up to the hype! Had tons of space, and a fully stocked kitchen. I was also glad the dinning area and living room had ample seating. Sometimes a place will sleep 8 or so, but only had dinning and living room space for half that. Also had an office space in the front room, that connected via doorway to the living room and one of the bedrooms which was very handy. We enjoyed a quick walk to the beach, Leone and Loyola, and the little bluebird cafe was great for casual food for our family. There was also a great playground next to the cafe. We traveled with our 13 and 9 year old and also meet up with their cousins ( 6 and 15 months) and the beach/playground situation was great! The front porch was also a favorite place to hang! Getting downtown was a bit of ordeal, but we knew it would be. From our experience, that’s just Chicago. If you want to spend a lot of time downtown, a hotel right downtown would be the way to go, but if you want a roomy place to spread out, enjoy the beach, and be a quick drive to places like Andersonville for the shops and restaurants, this was a great homebase!"

"I only have 3 small things to mention about this rental that I think could be improved (keeping in mind if they didn't change anything, it would still be very nice)!1. The parking garage directions talk about the elevator being at the end, but it is actually 6 spots to the right of your spot. It would be easier to state that explicitly I think. 2. The garbage can slams a little when you open and close it. I think something might be wrong with the soft close mechanism. I just used my hand to open and close it softly, but it took 8 or 9 times of slamming it before I internalized that.3. The bedroom can be pretty bright. The blinds help, but they don't shut out all the light. If you are someone who needs a dark room to sleep in (maybe you have a small kid that goes to bed early or something), you might consider a different rental. If bright mornings don't bother you, this one is a non-issue then!Other than those things, I think this rental was exactly what we were expecting it to be, and I would say it is worth the money!"

"The property was in an excellent location; easy walk to beach, beautiful and quiet neighborhood, easy walk to shops. The apartment was clean and spacious. We enjoyed out stay. Only complaint is no TV. We spent much of our time with my daughter who lives nearby but if I had mornings or longer evenings inside, I would have wanted a TV."
