Hilton Orrington / Evanston
10/10 Excellent
"The location of the Orrington is excellent but the star of the Orrington is delfinitely its staff. They were friendly, helpful and handled busy and problem situations with grace and solutions. Gotta love the midwest!"
DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago - North Shore Conference Center
10/10 Excellent
"The staff was friendly and attentive, and the room was clean. The entire facility is well maintained, and breakfast at the adjacent Jameson’s Charhouse was delicious. The hotel’s location is excellent—within walking distance of shopping, grocery stores, and the performing arts center (we were in town to see the Queen concert).
The outdoor pool had a few small autumn leaves, and the mattress was a bit too soft for my liking, but overall this hotel is a winner. I would definitely recommend staying here!"
"Comfortable place to land after seeing the city, right by the Red Line. Spacious, well-lit and generally clean inside the unit itself. However, hallways and stairwells in the apartment building were smelly and could've used a good sweep. No big deal if you've lived in apartment buildings before, and the Vrbo itself was quiet and clean. Overall, a great value and recommended for a budget-conscious solo traveler or couple!"

"Overall loved the space. Great neighborhood, clean inside, great space. My only 2 complaints are, 1. It smelled very strong of cat litter which was quite odd. And 2. The check in process was strange. The manager required that he meet you in person and go through each page of the binder, and go through the entire house, one by one. I have never had that happen, and it was honestly inconvenient and annoying. Luckily, the space itself was great, so I gave it 5 stars. "
"Loved this sweet space tucked into a special neighborhood in the city. Space was clean & comfortable, wonderful shower & a nice respite from city life. "
