"Had a private room and it felt like a basic hotel, clean and comfortable. A good deal when split with another person. Nice and quiet. Be aware that this is a dry hostel even in private rooms. The quiet hours are generally well-observed."

"Great stay. My capsule was well equipped with dual USB-A/C ports and not a speck of dust in sight. This place is beyond clean - like the love child of Ikea and a Japanese capsule hotel. I don’t really have any negatives to speak of. They have daily activities (some paid, some free), a huge kitchen with a much welcomed free food basket, and a cheap cafe/bar with a nice 10% discount to make it even cheaper. Nothing to complain about here. "

"Everything ok except bunk beds. If you sleep upper bed than you can experience problems- whole bed is shaking. I saw someone felt down while stepping down. It deserved for maintenance work or exchange. The rest was good. Perfect location. Nice staff."

"Centrally located so great for getting around. Friendly and helpful staff, helpful about providing bus information etc. Luggage storage in a locked room. Lots of kitchens and lounges. I had a private room with ensuite which was fine, a bit basic but everything I needed. Only thing I didn't like was that the bed linen was very pilly which was a bit uncomfortable."

"I had a great stay at the Haka Lodge. I have no complaints with the facility. Everything was clean. It was close to so many restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. It was easy and convenient to get to the city or CBD as the bus is right in front of the Lodge. When our light fixtures wouldn’t work in two areas of the room, the staff as prompt in finding a way to fix it. I would say that I found the area safe. "Stayed for just a little over a week. Great location. Close to the motorway, walking distance to shops in the city. Rooms were tidy and kitchen had everything we needed. Great to have our own laundry appliances. Great to have parking but the extra cost for it was a surprise. Wifi was a bit touch and go. Didn't always work well. We were a family of 5 so needed more stable wifi. "
