We live in the Chicagoland area and it was the perfect short distance getaway. It was like a mini vacation. The hostess Gregoria was super helpful. "

Mike was extremely responsive with any questions (even on Thanksgiving day!) and provided detailed and clear check in/check out instructions and misc. details about the property. We especially loved the outdoor area; it was the ideal spot for morning coffee and evening unwinding. "My family and I were celebrating my sister's 70th birthday . There were 18 of us in total. Six were children. The house was big enough to accommodate all of us. The rooms were non traditional in the basement but my family enjoyed where they slept and had no complaints. The teenagers truly enjoyed the large yard, the hot tub and the fire pit. The very young children enjoyed the space to just run and play. My sister and I just enjoyed being together for two nights with our family and looking at the beautiful view. It was rainy and cold so we could not do any lake activities but there were many things we could have done that are listed. The host,Jeff was fantastic. He was easy to contact and answered every question I had. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay with a large group. You can do very little as we chose to do or entertain yourself in a variety of ways. We all had a great stay and hope to do it again. . "

"We decided to plan this for my girlfriend’s birthday get-together, it was a great time and we enjoyed every that was offered! Wish we remembered to use the campfire that was outside. We had a movie marathon and cooked a bunch of food"
