The Lake House on Powers |Grassy Frontage |Lakeside Deck |Rec Room w/Pool Table & Bar |Fire Pit
Welcome to Powers Lake - A Midwestern secret located just over the Wisconsin state line, providing easy access to a pristine, spring-fed lake for Chicago, Milwaukee and beyond. Enjoy a slightly more remote experience than staying in Lake Geneva, while still being able to access the town's shopping, wining, and dining with a 15 minute car ride. This home includes beautiful, flat frontage and a private pier for swimming, fishing, or tying your boat up between rides. The spacious, lake-facing lawn is perfect for yard games and includes a bonfire pit for after sunset!
Upon checking in, guests will find a split-level home with an abundance of space to gather. While the feel can best be described as "lake retro", the home has been carefully kept up and preserved. The primary level features a fully-equipped kitchen opening up to a large dining and living space- plenty of room for a crew of up to 10 to relax, prepare dinner, or play card games. The massive fire place makes it a cozy place to be in the winter after a day on the slopes, as well! Floor-to-ceiling windows deliver full-spectrum lake views, and a sliding glass door leads right out onto the second-story deck and screened-in porch. Tucked away on the main level are two of three bedrooms and a full bathroom with his and her sinks.
Moving downstairs, guests will find a large secondary entertainment space equipped with a bar, arcade games, and a pool table that looks right out at the lake! Just around the corner is an additional TV area and another massive wood-burning fire place. Enjoy the leisure of a walk-out basement throughout your vacation. Rounding out the lower level is the third bedroom, neighboring another large full bathroom.
Grab your family and friends and come escape to Powers Lake to discover a lakefront getaway that will have you coming back year-after-year!

A nice place, just the right size. Big enough for a large group, but still cozy. We loved the games (because we stayed for Christmas). Our first impression was extra nice because they left christmas music on the TV for us.
I had a great stay. Perfect place for my family and I. The location was convenient, the space was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to others. Lots of fun indoors when it's chilly out. I can’t wait to rent on a good summer weekend!
We had a low-key bachelor party; all the bachelor wanted was to relax, play some yard games, and enjoy time with family. The Lake House on Powers offered the perfect getaway for just that occasion. Spacious room was more than rough for our guests. Pool table and darts added to the fun activities we’d brought ourselves. Kitchen and grill allowed us to cook ourselves. All in all, this property was everything we needed!
Thanks so much for making this weekend one to remember! The house was fantastic and the owners were extremely cooperative with any issues we came across
We decided to plan this for my girlfriend’s birthday get-together, it was a great time and we enjoyed every that was offered! Wish we remembered to use the campfire that was outside. We had a movie marathon and cooked a bunch of food
The property was nice. It sleeps 12 people comfortably. There were extra towels and sheets left out for a hideaway bed, which was appreciated. We stayed for five nights and six days, and there was plenty to do around the area. It is a beautiful location, but you may want to have some type of watercraft to fully enjoy it. There is one bedroom on the lower level that does not have air, so it was a little stuffy for people to sleep in. We also had a little difficulty with the cooling down of the house on hot days. I would, however stay at this location again in the future.
