Our first stay at The White Hart and it won’t be our last. Our room was spacious, clean with en-suite facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice.

Great stay! Very comfortable
Excellent hotel, warm welcome and comfortable room. Food was outstanding, quality produce for both evening meal and breakfast. Only downside, which is a minor point, the shower hose was split so reduced the power to the shower head. Easily fixed. Definitely recommend and will stay here again when back in the area.

A little gem of a place to stay!
What a gem! Been working in the area for a few weeks now and wished I'd found The White Hart sooner. Set in a lovely quiet little village. Just idyllic! Shame I had to work. Great facilities in the room and the bar has a big selection of ales and beers. Really can't fault this place.

Not the best start
Did online checkin and asked for early checkin. They never got back to me. Arrived at hotel and shown to the room in the annex. Sorry to say it was not very clean, the blind in the window and the surfaces were thick in dust. Complained and given another room in the main building that was ok. No explanation on why the room was not clean. Breakfast good choice and very nice. Parking a bit tight when loads of people outside drinking. Thought a little overpriced for what it was. I would think twice about staying again, it was ok but nothing to shout about. I understand it’s difficult times for a business so I hope they view my comments as constructive and with them every success.

We loved our stay at the White Hart. Our room was large, bed comfy, big walk in shower. Tea and coffee making facilities, small fridge ( very useful), plus Netflix on the TV. WiFi good signal. Small country pantry type shop a few steps away also run by the pub and useful if you forget anything! What was even better was we were just a few steps from the pub ( not noisy!) The pub is welcoming , great beer and whiskey and excellent food. Portion sizes are huge but you won't be able to resist eating it all. Gluten free well catered for. Very reasonable price as well. The breakfast was fantastic ( bacon delicious) and you could have whatever you chose plus cereal, toast , fruit, yoghurt etc. All in all a brilliant stay. We will definitely be returning!

Great lively Pub based overnight stay. Recommend
Excellent 1 night stay. Just prior to Xmas. Lovely evening meal and great breakfast. Close enough to the M1 to make short stays ideal.

Clean, comfortable good sized room with good Internet. I used it for Teams business work with no problems. The pub itself is an excellent country pub, with a good menu and enjoyable food. I'll be back and recommend you try it too

We only stayed the night as we were attending a wedding near by. Our room was in the main building just upstairs from the pub bar. It was a really nice, everything was great and clean. Breakfast was made to order and fantastic, there was quite a selection to choose from. Would definately recommend.

We stopped with friends for one night en route to the channel tunnel. What a great find. We had our evening meal there which was lovely. Staff great. We asked for bacon rolls to take with us instead of breakfast as we were leaving early, this was no problem. The rolls were delicious and we also were given a granola bar, water and juice. We will certainly stay here again.

Fantastic stay with amazing dinner
A fantastic stay- rooms were lovely and very spacious- plenty of room for our 2 dogs. We had dinner and it was excellent- great portions and excellent value for money. We wanted to get off in the morning so they very kindly did us breakfast to go- again excellent. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

Surprising little gem!!
A lovely, welcoming stay in a really well organized, Covid safe, inn & then to top it off the food was fabulous. We exercised the menu for our evening meal trying five tapas starters & four different main courses. Breakfast was equally excellent. Value for money. The room decor was a little tired but very clean. All round a wonderful stay.

Great village pub
We had a short but fantastic stay at the White Hart. Staying for a race meant I had to get up super early but the team there couldn't be more helpful in sorting out an early breakfast. Good choice of ales and nice wine list, along with really good choice and quality of pub food. we had some great food and great dessert. We had a very comfortable, quiet and clean room just over from the pub which was perfect. Overall the friendliness and helpfulness of the team was fantastic - definitely recommend it and we'll be back

Absolute gem!
Fantastic place to stay! A mix of the traditional and modern in a quiet village setting. It's very comfortable with all the facilities you'd want, good Wi-Fi, great staff and truly fantastic food! I'll definitely return whenever in the area.

2 night stay at White Hart
The staff were wonderful, the food both on the evening and at breakfast was amazing. My room 405 was very clean , good facilities and well stocked with tea and coffee. My only tiny negative was the bed was not as comfortable as I would have wished although I recognise this is personal choice , overall brilliant and I would happily stay again when next in the area

This is a rustic country inn. It was clean and well maintained but still not so fancy. Be aware that many B&Bs we found in Scotland and England didn’t have air conditioning but they did have fans which made it comfortable. All in all a good experience.
