The best time to go to Newport, Maryland, is during the shoulder seasons of spring (April to May) and autumn (September to October).

During these months, the weather is pleasantly mild, with fewer crowds than in the peak summer season. This allows for a more relaxed experience when exploring the town's historic sites and natural beauty. You'll find it easier to book accommodation and enjoy the local restaurants without long waits.

Couples looking for a romantic getaway will particularly appreciate the quieter atmosphere of spring and autumn. You can enjoy strolls along the waterfront, visit the historic Newport Lighthouse, or explore the antique shops in the town centre without the bustling crowds of summer. The crisp air and often colourful foliage in autumn add to the scenic appeal.
