The room was fine. Every morning at 4am staff would walk the corridor, talking loudly and letting every fire door bang, which there are a lot of on the corridors. No staff on Reception fir check out for me to share my complaint with, attempted visiting Reception 3 times before I left and still unable to speak to a member of staff.

Receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. Rooms were clear and the food was good. My only critisicm would be the Gym and Spa facilities. The poolside was dirty as people had used their outdoor footwear to walk into the pool. The gym equipment was very dated but functional.

We booked the superior room which was lovely and very good value for money. The only thing that let it down was that the bath was filthy. We didn’t have breakfast or use any of the facilities but we did order room service. The food was very nice and arrived hot and well presented. The lady on reception on arrival and checkout wasn’t the friendliest which was quite disappointing. Overall a pleasurable stay but could have been perfect if not for the dirty bath and unfriendly receptionist.

The room was clean, really good large fluffy towels in the bathroom. Overall the room seemed a little tired. The springs on one side of the bed were noisy so had to sleep on the other side. All of the staff were friendly and polite.

Great hotel with spa and lovely staff

Lovely hotel with big; clean rooms and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was great with a lot of choice and the pool and spa were excellent. All the staff who I met were very pleasant

I would stay here again

Booked in 3.30am due ti flight into Newcastle. Room warm. Slept with window open which cooled nicely. Guy on desk really helpful. 8 minutes from front desk to being asleep. Breakfast good choice.
