I think this is a good deal for Manhattan. It's expensive, but so is everything else, and if you can paying a bit more for this is totally worth it. The drop in quality when choosing the somewhat cheaper but ok options. like Hampton Inn etc. etc. is significant. This is a very nice hotel with excellent staff.

We had a great stay at this very nice hotel. It was two blocks south of Central Park and two blocks from the train station where we met our kids who live in NYC. We were able to navigate around NYC very easily from this location. Much quieter than staying in Times Square. We would definately stay here again in the future!

A real gem! The rooms are very spacious and well appointed. The staff is super friendly and helpul. The rooms are quiet and the location is very central to Manhattan.
