For what we paid to stay here, it wasn't worth it. Staff at the front desk were not knowledgeable about procedures. Unprofessional and a bit arrogant. Beware the new resort fee which they tried to push onto us despite us telling them that we were not aware of this at the time of booking. They also had issues with their system with accepting our fully functional credit cards. A total of 6 or 7 attempts of taking out deposit payments were made between mine and my partner's credit cards, which both had sufficient funds available to use. They accused us of having 'non functional' cards which was why the deposit payment wasn't going through and told us to contact the bank even though we said our cards have worked for everywhere else including our trips to other US cities (LA and Vegas). After much back and forth, the phone was put on speaker for the staff to hear that the reason why payment isn't going through is because of a timeout connection issue on the hotel's side at their terminal. This issue was already known by staff at the time so it was a major time waster for everyone (45 minutes or longer). It was not until the manager came to help sort the issue of credit card payment, when she informed us that the resort fee does not apply to us, as we made the booking before the resort fee was introduced last year. We also ended up paying the deposit by cash, which was a suggestion we made at the beginning, while they were insistent on deposits always being done by card.
