Our stay was incredible! The staff was welcoming, friendly, and very helpful. Mirsada provided outstanding service and attentiveness. The rooms are elegant and well appointed but could benefit from a facelift. The King Cole Bar was fun and the drinks were delicious (albeit pricey). Use of the house car is a big perk and our driver was gracious and accommodating. The service and overall experience are tough to beat!

Check in person was an absolute pleasure to deal with. The butler on the floor was very responsive.
Beautiful property and absolutely my favorite hotel in the city. Wonderful location right off of 5th Ave. Amazing service, pleasant staff, and very helpful and patient concierge. Love staying at this property its always a perfect trip to the city.
This is the best hotel in NYC. The service is impeccable. The rooms are well appointed and beautifully maintained. The in-room dining is fantastic and our butler team were attentive and helpful despite being very busy over the holiday period. Highly recommend if you want to have a unique and luxurious experience.
We chose the St.Regis for its famous lobby and bar and classic charm. We were not told until just before our arrival that the lobby was being renovated and off limits and the bar and restaurant were closed. We understand those are being modernized and the beautiful rooms will also be modernized. Exactly what we do not want, so we will not return.

Disappointing at best
Check in staff was not friendly or accommodating. Requested down alternative pillows at check in and had to call at 11 pm that same night because they still had not been delivered. Room staff very kind. Doormen never at front door to assist during stay in getting car service . Concierge Pete was great. Destination fee add ons not really usable at $50 per day. Because booked through Hotels.com you don’t receive points for status. Not worth $1100 per night, not even close.
This is the most luxurious hotel I have ever seen. It was designed by John Jacob Astor who unfortunately was lost in the Titanic disaster. But thankfully his beautiful hotel keeps his legacy alive.
The architecture is absolutely jaw dropping. You will feel like you went back in time because the decor and amenities look like they are brand new even though they are intricately ornate Edwardian designs. This hotel looks like it's from a fairy tale both inside and out.Astor thought of everything. Every little detail in this place is impeccable.
The staff is extremely friendly and thoughtful and their service is excellent. They carry your luggage and walk you to the building with an umbrella if it's raining. They carry your luggage up to your room. The concierge desk helps you with whatever you need.
It was my mother and my birthday and they were so thoughtful and hooked us up at another restaurant for her birthday dinner. They gave us a personalized birthday card and treats. They gave us a tour of the basement which has historical artifacts and photos or autographs of many famous celebrities who came to stay to perform at the venue in a previous decade.
