We loved this hotel! Near the italian village, it has the best spot. Near the Subway station as well! And I have no words for the design! It is so unique! The rooms were clean, and well isolated. Will come back again!

Great location. Common areas are uniquely decorated for those that like to take pictures. Rooms are comfortable and my room had a heated bathroom floor! No elevator, but staff will carry bags to your room.

Great stay. History (age) of building pre-dated elevators, but professionally addressed by staff immediately. Rooms were well appointed, staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to other travelers interested in a part of the city not in the Theater District, only a cab/Uber or subway ride away.

The staff was amazing. The employees have exemplary customer service. This hotel is well maintained and extremely clean. The only drawback is that, because it is a historical landmark, it does not have an elevator. Other than that, I would still recommend this hotel. It is a five-minute walk from the Grand Stop Metro Station. It is centrally located in the heart of Chinatown.

Love this hotel! No regrets! From the hotel you turn right it’s China town, you turn left it’s little Italy, a few blocks more and you are in SoHo. The staff are so nice and helpful. Beds are comfortable, lots of pillows, bathroom is spotless. They were generous with towels. Literally, they provided everything that we didn’t even have to ask for anything. Coffee & tea are provided in the lobby in the morning just to get you going. You can even ask them to keep your leftover food in their fridge. Our room was cool and quiet at night. Seriously, highly recommend this hotel.

I liked this place, it was simple and comfortable and clean and well located. My room was very small but comfortable for not being in the room very much. Also there is no elevator so be prepared to climb some stairs. Overall would recommend and stay at again.

The Sohotel on the Bowery is excellent for its value, with modern comfort with a prime downtown location. While the lack of an elevator requires a quick stair climb, the immaculate rooms and outstanding hospitality make it well worth the price for able-bodied travelers. Coffee is great!
