Great location, clean, and beautiful decor. The rooftop restaurants were delicious and convenient. Really enjoyed those. Everything was better than expected except for the breakfast. Quite disappointing for the price and ran out of food. All in all would definitely stay here again, just skip the breakfast.

We loved our stay at The Sanctuary! Super close (5-7 minute) walk to Radio City Music Hall which is why we originally picked it. Everything was so clean and staff was helpful with any questions about the city. We will be back if we ever need to come back to that area again!

I got the cozy queen room, and it’s a great room for a solo traveler! It would also for work for two travelers who are fine without a whole lot of extra space. Everything you need is in the compact design with feeling claustrophobic. They offer room service from their sushi restaurant which was great for getting food before my show. Would definitely stay again!

Property is well located just off Times Square. Despite this, the property is quiet with limited noise from adjacent streets. Staff are always on hand for assistance and for when we interacted with them were polite and eager to help. Property is well equipped, with food and drink options on site, which we didn't use during our stay, aside from the cold water dispenser which was free for guests. The room was clean, however it appeared slightly dated. It is quite "cosy" with limited floor space in addition to the amenities, with the shower/bathroom located within the main room. A toilet was located adjacent in it's own space with a closing sliding door. This property was adequate for a couple of days exploring New York.

The staff is wonderful, very helpful and kind. The room itself is a bit shabby -- outlets did not work, shade on the window was frayed, outer shade was broken (though the staff fixed it once it was pointed out), drawer on bedside table kept opening and wouldn't stay shut. The location is perfect for midtown. Patrons should also know that the rooftop bar is a business and space is not widely open to hotel patrons who aren't dining. You can sit at the bar and have a drink, but most of the area is reserved for the business.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Sanctuary Hotel. All the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The room was nice and clean. The beds/pillows were super comfortable (soft)! I slept like a baby! The location is about a block away from Time Square and just steps away from the Palace Theatre (showing the Lost Boys musical). There was some occasional noise from outside that could be heard in our room but it was not the hectic noisy from Time Square. There is a Dunkin Donuts and a small bar next door, and Serendipity 3 across the street. The Haven restaurant inside the hotel was beautiful and the appetizers and drinks that we had were really good. Breakfast was just ok for me but it is worth trying since the hotel gives a $25 daily credit to use toward it. I would stay here again.

Mystay at the Sanctuary Hotel New York was excellent. The hotel was comfortable, chic, and very clean, with a great staff that made the experience even better. The location is perfect for staying in NYC, and the overall ambience was amazing. Definitely looking forward to staying there again!

Perfect location, and less than a block away from "the heart" of Times Square and the subway...which was great! Terrible miscommunication and delay with the check-in, which was disappointing, and we were given our room well after 3 PM. Avoid rooms near the hotel cleaning staff room, since the walls are thin and the sound of folks cleaning early in the morning can be a disturbance if you aren't a morning person (which I am, thankfully). The cleaning staff is very persistent in keeping the rooms cleaned...even when you place your "Do Not Disturb" on the door, and they called me several times on my cellphone and room phone...so getting clarification on the room cleaning requirement is a must when you check-in. I wouldn't return here in the future (due to the value of what I paid and the level of service not being enough for me to return), but if you want a great location that's convenient to Times Square... please feel free to try them out!
