Clean, convenient and exactly what we were hoping for. The roof deck provided a beautiful view and a great place to sip our coffee in the morning. Only reason for 4/5 stars was the weak water pressure & temperature in the building. Otherwise a wonderful week spent here.

Super comfortable and easy one night stay for a solo traveler. Competitively priced for hotels in the area, it has a desk attendant at all (reasonable) hours, tenants weren’t too loud, street noise was a fine level even on a weekend night, bed was comfy, heat and AC both worked well, and the shower was nice and hot. They also had an iron and ironing board and clothes hangers in the room and rooftop patio with nice views. It was the tiniest hotel room I had ever seen in my life, and there weren’t many frills (no fridge, only a communal microwave downstairs, no bedside table or space for one, no chair or desk, just the bed to sit on, communal coffee in the lobby but not the room, pretty terrifying looking “lounge” on the second floor with a busted window and a few lights out). Alas, I didn’t need those things so I had a great time.

Spent the night to go clubbing for our birthday in lower east. Hosted a pregame/pizza party for 15 people on the terrace. View was amazing and location is perfect. Room was small but we were only there to pass out. Staying here everytime I visit now.

The location is unbeatable, there are so many great food spots and shops within walking distance. The area was really lively and packed with people on the weekend, if you’re into nightlife this is the spot for you. Definitely a younger crowd. I felt really safe walking in the area both in the day and at night. We were on the 5th floor and were able to hear noise from the streets (mostly cars honking at eachother) and the rooms are pretty tiny, but this is NYC so you can’t really complain about that too much. Bathroom inside the room was a plus. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect for a solo traveler!

Simple and straightforward, perfect for a solo traveler! Orchard Street Hotel was exactly what I needed for my solo trip to NYC. The amenities were simple, the bed was comfy, and the AC was strong! The customer service was great too! Also, great views from the rooftop.

A Cute Day Stay

Staff at Orchard St are so friendly and accommodating! No fridges in any of the rooms, so they helped keep my birthday cake chill until the party :) Definitely recommend for a quick stay and a 10/10 bathroom.

This hotel is perfect for exploring NYC for a true New Yorker experience. Staff were amazing and the hotel room we booked was amazing ! Had a perfect city sky line very for great sunsets and amazing night life views. Parking isn’t ideal ( but that’s an nyc problem ) we will be booking again for our next NYC trip in a few months again !
