Our first time visiting, the welcome was great! We got an early check in which was such a breath of fresh air. Seems like the front desk is overworked and a bit chaotic. Lobby got pretty full pretty quickly. My key card stopped working mid trip but was an easy fix. The room is adequate but small (expected in New York). I was told the parking was $50/55 but ended up paying $70.00 a night and no in and out option. Wish I would have explored the variety more, they do not validate or cover any of those fees. It is however in a prime location! Lots of restaurants nearby, Times Square walking distance. The hotel was clean, but nothing over the top. I think my check in was the best part in terms of customer service. I did let reception know that my sink was backing up (clogged), but for the most part it worked for a quick stay. It seems like it was a busy time in the hotel, guests were waiting for rooms etc, and only one gentleman was available to put out all the fires. Besides check in, we never really got help or had any interaction with front desk. The elevators are small so with a group of six, most of us took the stairs because it became busy at certain times. We rented a movie but had trouble getting it to play for the first 30 minutes and then had to download an app etc which is so hard to do while rangling little ones trying to keep their attention.Grab and go breakfast was exactly that, to be expected. Over all a good stay given a few of those minor things to think about!
