Unfortunately the lift wasn’t working which I believe they should have got a contractor out to fix as I saw a guest struggling to climb the stairs due to injured knee Also not enough car parking on the premises

Great location in CBD for easy walking to restaurants, stores, parks, museums and the coastal walkway. Modern large hotel room with balcony. Comfortable bed and great shower. Would definitely stay and and highly recommend.

Excellent accomodation
Excellent accomodation. Modern, spacious, well maintained. Lovely comfortable bed and a little balcony. Good guest laundry. Close to the water, shops, restaurants etc.

Didn’t like having to pay a bond larger than the cost of the room as they wouldn’t take my card details as they believed I could have limits etc bed was as hard as a rock and both me and the wife woke up sore

Hi ShaunThanks for your feedback.I am sorry you do not agree with having to pay a bond.When you book with third party websites we do not get to see any of your credit card details, therefore we have no security or way of knowing if a credit card is valid or not.This is very common. We moved away from Pre authorizing credit cards as it takes to long for the banks to release the funds back to the customers cards after checkout.We normally have great feedback about our beds, but understand everyone has different needs.We appreciate your comments.RegardsThe Metrotel Team

The lady on reception was amazingly friendly and obliging. Great place to stay, excellent location. They did run out of carparks though, would be the only negative i could think of
