"We had a lovely stay in The Carmel. It is more than just a motel. The room is very clean and fresh, aircon works very well. You have everything you need in the room. You can play pickle ball, basketball. There is a pool and bbq. You can also borrow a bike (quite a few of them hardly ran out) to ride around. Great walking/bike riding track to the lighthouse ans the breakwall. The staffs are so friendly and professional. They will give you tips for what to do, where to dine in the lovely town. The stay definitely made our trip to Yamba enjoyable."

"The location is great (a short walk to main, convent and pippi beaches) and reception staff are super lovely. The residence itself is like a time capsule from 1990 - everything is very tired and run down but functional, we honestly only slept there so it didn't bother us too much as we booked for the location which was close to our friends house on Ocean Street. Kitchen could have been a bit cleaner, some of the cutlery was dirty and there was lots of crumbs in the utensil drawers but otherwise well stocked. Would stay again for the location. "
