Top National Dahlia Collection Hotel Reviews
Mount View Hotel B&B
10/10 Excellent
"Clean room and friendly helpful staff. Lovely breakfast."
Cockleshell Cottage, pristine luxury and tranquility
10/10 Excellent
"What a lovely place with wonderful views and surroundings. The seaside cottage is clean and has everything you need. Thanks a lot to Sue and Simon for all the nice treats, for everything!!We certainly hope to come back one day!"
One bedroom 1st floor apartment with balcony and close to the beach and town
10/10 Excellent
"What a beaut! The interior is perfect - it's bigger than it looks from the outside, has everything you could want re: kitchen equipment, a powerful shower and such a comfy bed. Location is ideal for beach access and public transport into Penzance (bus stop is pretty much at the bottom of the access lane), and lovely sea breeze on warmer days. Would definitely stay here again :)"
Detached comfortable granite cottage, 5 minute walk to the beach - Dogs Welcome
10/10 Excellent
"Location perfect, train didn’t bother us at all. The bathroom was quite dirty which was a shame. Mould around shower screen tooth brush holder had mouldy water in bottom and behind the sink. Overall the Cottage was sweet, parking was very tight, but manageable, definitely reversing in is the best option. Nice touch was a pint of milk left in fridge for us."
Charming cottage, spectacular uninterrupted sea views of Bay & St Michaels Mount
8/10 Good
"We had a wonderful stay overall. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and cleaning up, but the true highlight is the breathtaking balcony view of the ocean and St Michael’s Mount.A few practical notes for future guests:•Interior & Privacy: The cottage is a bit dated and would benefit from a modern refresh. Also, note that the neighbouring balcony at Trevara directly overlooks the downstairs main bedroom, so you’ll need to draw the curtains when changing.•Parking & Access: The alleyway to the rear parking space is extremely narrow. Despite the listed 2-metre width limit, it was a terrifyingly tight squeeze in our Porsche Macan (see photos!). The public car park is an alternative, but it's a long walk with heavy luggage and groceries.•Neighbouring Access: Upon arrival, the guests at Trevara mistakenly told us we couldn't use the garden for unloading. While we clarified that we had full access for check-in and check-out, it was an awkward exchange. It might be worth updating Trevara’s guest guide to clarify this shared access.•Local Amenities: Marazion no longer has a local convenience store or off-license, so plan to drive a few miles to the nearest supermarket for groceries.•Dining: We highly recommend The King's Arms—we ate there twice and the food was outstanding!"
The Queens Hotel
8/10 Good
"It was clean and comfortable but could do with a bit of sprucing up. Lovely breakfast, a bit noisy due to the age of the property"
Hoopers Lodge,-Hot Tub, Pet Friendly
8/10 Good
"Ideal location! The A30 is right on your doorstep but very easy access in both directions. Well equipped and hot tub was a major bonus! Overall the property needs some TLC inside and out. Nothing drastic but it feels let down by the issues (decking edging snapped, water damage vanity unit)"
The Lugger Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing view and staff was very friendly for accomodation need as well as for any queries. Perfect location for public transport, restaurant all in walking distance"
Chyreen@marazion
10/10 Excellent
"Had a lovely stay in the loft! The views were fantastic, and the location was amazing—perfectly situated with easy access to other areas. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend staying here!"
