"Staff was very nice . Accommodating. However the rooms were musty , the floors were damp and had stains throughout . The beds had stains. The walls were paper thin . I use the plural because , our first room , upon leaving to go out , we noticed would not lock behind us . You could just push it open if you wanted . The nice lady switched our rooms and apologized .That being said the pillows were absolutely trash . They did not even feel like pillows . They were Small and unexplainable uncomfortable . You get what you pay for that’s for sure . "

"We just needed a place for the night so wasn’t wanting much; however, the app reviews were skewed. Bathrooms moldy. Nonsmoking room filled with smoke smell. Continental breakfast was bread/toast, yogurt, packaged donuts, or cereal. We went to a great breakfast place down the street. "

"This was a neat little place on the river! The host was very welcoming and had a list of nearby things to do as well. I found it very odd having to take our trash to the dump ourselves, but we made it happen though. Wouldn’t mind coming back and staying here again. "

"The cabin was larger than expected. I appreciated that dogs were allowed. Communication was excellent.We were pretty chilly as the electric fireplace and wall heater weren’t able to keep up with the cold. We were concerned about the wall heater so we didn’t leave it on when we left or were sleeping. Pillows could need an upgrade but the bed was comfy. Would love to comeBack in warmer weather."

"Cabin was cozy. The kitchen is extremely small. The heater in the basement didn’t work. We had to use space heaters that required extension chords running through the upstairs hallway. The house was dusty and the outside porches were very dirty and the windows were covered in poop..bird I guess? Kitchen and bathrooms were clean. We enjoyed our stay but someone needs to deep clean, I found myself cleaning because all the dust upsets my husband's sinus. Beware of outside tamper proof mouse traps with poison. Our dog is nosy and found them right away. It gave us a scare when we realized she had messed with them. We loved the location..very close to my sisters mountain house. Our adult children enjoyed the nice hot tub. We love Franklin and had a wonderful time."
