"What an incredibly lovely place! Paul, the host/manager(?), was especially accommodating and made an excellent breakfast. The only minor downside is the full-size bed, which is smaller than a queen. Otherwise, highly recommended!"

"The Yellow House is a wonderful B and B for a relaxing weekend. The owner is very conscientious and his breakfasts reflect that. There was always hot coffee available in the mornings and snacks, including home made cookies, during the day. The house is very clean and well kept. Our bed was a little small and therefore, I found it hard to sleep well. The next time we stay here I would request a room with a larger bed. I would definitely return for a weekend here. "

"Sadly we were only there for 1 night. We wish our trip was for a couple so we could have enjoyed more of Bryson City and the Calhoun’s hotel. So very quaint! Lovely big porch with rocking chairs. The morning we checked out it was raining. So we sat on the porch drinking coffee and listening to the rain. "

"The Inn was very quaint and homey. Toni was very welcoming and the food was excellent! Our room was decorated very authentic, however, the room and the attached bath were very small. Loved the location as it was very quiet and had many spots to sit and enjoy nature, including the rooster, and it's just a few minutes from town. I highly recommend the Folkestone Inn."

"The room was a nice size with 2 glider chairs, a desk and queen bed and room to move around!! The breakfast was delicious and very filling. The grounds with a mountain view were great for sitting and relaxing, in the morning we were lucky to see a ground hog sitting up in the yard. Brenda and Peter were the perfect hosts with being there if you needed anything. "

"The property is conveniently located and near the downtown Bryson area. The home was super clean and very comfortable. The host and her family were so kind and accommodating. We arrived in time for my little one to pet some of the animals which was an added bonus for my little. Amy was an amazing host. She gave us a ride to the train depot and picked us up, so I wouldn't have to pay for parking. Amy even saved us dinner once we made it back to her home that night. That was a very thoughtful and...

"My husband and I spent our 29th wedding anniversary at panther cabins. We had the best time. The cabin was perfect for us and romantic. The communication with management was wonder. Before perps when we we’re coming and the follow up after. Infact so much to do in the area. We want to bring the whole family when we do a vacation. That’s how much we enjoyed it. "

"Loved the place. The river views/sounds and the back deck are fantastic. Host was very communicative and assisted for our questions. Beds/pillows were not that comfortable. Would share for host to add some pillow tops to the mattress to improve that aspect. Also, place is a little farther than 2 mins from Harrah’s. All-in-all, it was a great time in the mountains."
