"Room was very hot when we arrived and air conditioning unit was very old and struggled to get cold to start with. Otherwise stay was good. Beds were comfy. Not much selection for breakfast."

"Overall stay was wonderful. Beautiful home, and outdoor setting was peaceful. Host provides great instructions and responds quickly. The home is very clean, and has everything you need. Definitely will come back on my next trip to North Carolina."

"Beautiful home in the woods! Large and accommodating! Clean and had lots of space for everyone! Highly recommend this one for the nature lovers. Beautiful creek on property and a short walk to Bartram trail and waterfall. Even has a small apartment on top of garage area for visitors :) The hosts were very accessible for any questions :)"

"Great older home, worked well for our family gathering! Lots of open space for the kids and the dogs loved it as well. David is an outstanding host that tries to ensure any issues are taken care of promptly. Works well for handicapped travelers as well, my elderly dad enjoyed the place and could get around pretty well despite his struggles with ambulation. Fair pricing, and nice central location to Franklin if you have an event in town. Thanks David!"

"Lovely secluded cabin next to creek. Very relaxing . We enjoyed the firepit. There is also a hot tube ready to use. The cabin could be better illuminated and we didn’t grasp how to work the tvs. Overall, a wonderful , peaceful cabin."

"Everything was clean and neat. Everything was in good working order and we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The view was just as promised - absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed spending lots of time taking in the the cool mountain air and the gorgeous scenery while relaxing on the deck and in the sun room. The host was very accessible, courteous and responsive to our needs. The only slight negative was that we noticed that the previous guest had written in the guestbook that one of the bathroom towel racks was loose, but we found that it had not yet been repaired. One caution - this is a condo/villa connected to another twin unit. There were times when we heard the neighbors' conversations, dog and music. So if you're looking for total quiet and privacy this may not be the best choice. Suggestions: 1) Consider putting higher wattage bulbs in the dining area chandelier. The dining area was very dark especially in the evening and night time. 2) Consider switching the bedrooms to give the guests the bedroom with the mountain view."

"Older home with plenty of updates. Very roomy and clean. Nice cool air conditioning. We didn’t do any cooking while there, but the kitchen appears to be well supplied for cooking. Great view of the mountains from the back deck. Very convent location with easy access. Close to everything you may need or want. Would definitely stay here again."
