Romantic Bed And Breakfast Cottage.

Set back from the road and main residence, the Cottage adjoins a 300 acre DNR conservancy, and is nestled amongst other buildings of our quiet hobby farm. It is the perfect setting for tranquility, romance and privacy.

Located just a half hour from all the city of Milwaukee has to offer, yet on the edge of quiet, rural Muskego, your suite gives you the best of the country while being close to the city. If you enjoy peace and quiet, and long for privacy, this is the place for you.

Your suite is a five minute walk from the spring nesting grounds of the Great Blue Heron, forgotten fishing holes and right next door to a DNR conservancy. Little Muskego Lake, Big Muskego Lake, Lake Denoon, Wind Lake and the Fox River are just a short drive away.

The secluded cottage includes romantic natural fireplace, extra large Jacuzzi, large romantic shower space, screened in gazebo with bonfire pit and extra comfortable queen size bed. Includes kitchenette with refrigerator, convection oven, and gas fired grill.

Adjacent to the cottage is a large recreation building including pool table and sitting space with TV and gaming. The hobby farm has, horses, cats, dogs, chickens, and ducks.

Hidden paradise

Quiet, clean and peaceful stay in an adorable cottage. Breakfasts were delicious and very filling. Our favorite however was the gazeboo with the firepit and our visits from two adorable calico cats. Looking forward to another visit.

Great little cottege

We were in town for a wedding and came into town early to explore the city. The cottage was perfect for us to come back to and relax. We loved the gazebo fire pit and just hiw peaceful it was. Thank you for the enjoyable stay.

Great little getaway

This 600 square foot house was so darn cute. It had all the necessary conveniences: bed, table, couch, kitchenette (with basic supplies, including coffee and creamer), large bathroom, and adorable loft area for lounging. Even the hand delivered breakfast was delicious and plentiful (croissants, coffee cake, yogurt parfait, fruit, and juice). Will definitely go back. Great escape for a day or longer.

Grandma’s Cottage

I can’t say enough how much I loved this stay. The owners were so nice and went above and beyond for us. Little special touches like the birthday cake and the plant were very much appreciated. Such a relaxing weekend. I wish it wasn’t so windy, we would have loved to use the fire pit in the gazebo. I highly recommend Grandmas Cottage to anyone who just wants to get away and relax!

Lovely VRBO!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed this VRBO in the country. It's located on a historical farm. We stayed in one of the free-standing buildings on the property. It was pretty and clean, and we checked in easily with no contact other than e-mails. Our hosts brought us a delicious breakfast the next morning, which we both enjoyed immensely. Our hosts were very gracious! We will certainly stay there again, given the opportunity.

Anniversary trip

We booked this property to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The cottage was clean and well cared for. The fireplace with wood provided and the whirlpool tub were highlights. We also enjoyed watching the alpaca and horses and petting the cats on the property. The game room was nice but could use bit of cleaning still we enjoyed playing pool. We only wish it hadn't stormed so much so we could use the outside gazebo with the fire pit. We very much enjoyed our stay and would love to return again.

Weekend stay

Deb and Mike were great hosts! You won’t find a better pastry and fruit breakfast in any hotel. We were there for three days and each day was deliciously different. The cottage is ‘as advertised’. It is only a 30min. drive to Milwaukee and was too bad we had quite a bit scheduled there. We didn’t get to take advantage of all the property/area had to offer. We will be back to do the stuff we missed.

Amazing gem of history/labor of love

The pictures of this place don't do it justice -- It's beautiful and spacious! This was an unexpected gem for what was meant to be a simple 1-night stay. I wish we could have stayed at least 3 or 4 days. The cottage and other buildings on the property's history was near unbelievable, what this couple did to save and maintain/renovate the buildings here. The cottage was this couple's labor of love, to save and share it with the world, including the building that is the game room. ...not to mention the delicious breakfast brought to us in the morning! Totally worth the cost. A beautiful pocket of serenity & remnants of life in the 1800s with modern amenities. We loved the chickens (that were kept apart from the cottage but were walkable to visit). So much more than I expected! Amazing

I slept in a sleigh bed under fairy lights. At the top of a wooden staircase was a loft to read in completely encased in a giant pillow. I bathed in a jacuzzi tub in bubbles onfused with lavender oil which the host provided. I was hand delivered breakfast by the hosts. Outside, I was surrounded by paddocks and meadows, in the back of the cottage, are several miles of DNR land and to the left is an open barn containing two horses and an alpaca.which the hosts brought us carrots to feed. The fireplace had a stacked and primed firewhich took one match to light and burned for two hours. I wrote so much- and I didnt even twlell you about thr game barn! These are the best kinds of hosts- the appear when you need something- and magically disappear all other times! Great trip. which the owner provided.bbigger

Mike & Deb are such sweet hosts! The cottage was perfect for my little get-away, and their breakfasts every morning we just amazing! I would love to stay there in the summer/fall when I can enjoy a fire outside, although the Christmas lights with the snow were beautiful! Highly recommend!
