"This was my favourite place to stay in during my month-long trip in Ecuador. I've never had the chance to stay in an accommodation as welcoming, beautiful and comfortable as this one and the staff, from the wonderful manager down to those working at the lobby and doing housekeeping, were the most professional, kind and attentive I've ever experienced. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, the breakfast was delicious every day and served in a gorgeous interior garden, the shower was hot with shampoo and body wash supplied daily but what really made an impression on me was how much the staff cared about guests. I arrived in Cuenca after a few days in Banos with no clean clothes, they sorted me out straightaway and I only had to pay a few dollars for laundry. What really impressed (and made me emotional!) was that on the day I left, the manager woke up early to pack me a lunch for the bus ride and even gave me his thermos for a coffee because they had run out of takeaway cups. Then he called me a taxi and helped me to it when it arrived. Honestly, I have no words for the level of kindness and professionalism I experienced with this accommodation - everyone there deserves a raise and huge praise for their flawless work!! Next time I'm in town, there is no doubt this is where I would stay. Thank you so much for everything :)"

"It was the best experience staying in this hotel . Everything was perfect the Staff . Our Host Mike was amazing he made sure we had anything we needed taking care of . The food was high quality cooked to perfection and plated beautifully not to mention the attention of the waiters. The administrator was awesome he had high knowledge of history and his attention to detail was great. The hotel is set on the edge of a volcano with large wall windows that looked inside the volcano laying in your bed and on the other side with an extraordinary city view. We could see the sunrise on one side and the sundown on the other. I strongly recommend this hotel 100%. I will definitely stay here again. I did not meet the owners but my congregation on the super well staff he has and the administrator."
