The best hotel period.

We really enjoyed our stay. This hotel is very peaceful with friendly staff. The food was amazing so delicious. The rooftop restaurant has an amazing view of downtown Cuenca.

Very nice hotel. The reception doesn’t look particularly nice but the rooms are amazing. The staff was also friendly. The hotel doesn’t have a gym but they suggested a park nearby where one can exercise.

Great location

Fabulous location in the historic centro. Unfortunately, very noisy with street noise late into the night. Our room smelled a bit, though it was very clean. Staff very helpful and good service. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast in the rooftop restaurant very good, though it was pretty mych the same every day. Overall a good stay in a superb location.

Hotel Vaway is perfectly located adjacent to the historic town square and cathedral. Rooms are great, staff is excellent, rooftop restaurant has fabulous views! Since it is located in a busy area, there can be considerable street noise. But the location is very safe and convenient to everything.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel with a rooftop restaurant that has AMAZING views of the city. The staff is super courteous and helpful in both the hotel and the restaurant. The location is central with tons of restaurants, cafes, shops, markets, parks within walking distance. The hotel is across the street from one of the city's National Cathedrals, so expect to hear the church bells from time to time. It was a beautiful experience.

Even though some floors are still under construction with updating the hotel is lovely with a great rooftop bar and restaurant and a second rooftop for viewing and relaxing by the fire. This hotel has a generator and an elevator. Staff was great. Your stay includes breakfast, which is served between 730 and 930 and the head receptionist, speaks English as well.

The best part of the hotel was how caring and kind of the staff were during the stay. Everyone went out of their way to make sure that you were comfortable. The Hotel is quaint with modern upgrades, and an amazing rooftop restaurant. The only thing you need to be prepared for is the loud ringing of the church bells early in the morning and the noise from the street, which is inevitable, given how centrally located the hotel is. Otherwise, a great value stay.
