"La struttura si trova a pochissimi chilometri dal centro di Matera ed è circondata da un giardino non molto grande, ma molto curato ed accogliente. "The Pianelle Resort is beautiful and is in a great location in Matera, with many restaurants and attractions easily walkable from there. The rooms are spacious, beautiful and very unique. Shuttle service from a parking garage is easy, so visitors should not be concerned about not being able to park at the resort. The front office staff was great and their recommendations of restaurants and tours were spot-on. The morning breakfast was excellent with plenty of delicious options. We highly recommend. "

Breakfast was 1st class however a hot option ie omelette would only improve it.
Only problem advertisement on expedia stated pool after a 15 min walk around the extensive gardens etc no pool was to be found !"
