"This was hands down our favourite stay of our whole trip! The location was wonderful and central. The host was very helpful and told us lots about what to see and where to go. She was also helpful in checking in and in allowing us to hold our bags there until later in the afternoon. The interior of the room was so elegant and our balcony overlooked the street below. "The Pianelle Resort is beautiful and is in a great location in Matera, with many restaurants and attractions easily walkable from there. The rooms are spacious, beautiful and very unique. Shuttle service from a parking garage is easy, so visitors should not be concerned about not being able to park at the resort. The front office staff was great and their recommendations of restaurants and tours were spot-on. The morning breakfast was excellent with plenty of delicious options. We highly recommend. "
