We had a spectacular stay here. The property is gorgeous and very well located. Our room was positively dreamy. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that not only was the room perfect, but that we had all the information we needed to see Matera. Carla was an absolute gem. Breakfast on the patio each morning was beautiful. Highly recommend!

This is a truly unique, beautiful place, built into a cave, right in the Sassi of Matera. The owners/operators of the hotel are kind, helpful, and wonderful, and the breakfast was excellent.

Fabulous location in the centre of the old town, close to numerous great restaurants and bars, but peaceful. Lovely to sit in the small courtyard at the front of the hotel and enjoy the plentiful breakfast. Great hospitality and recommendations for sights and restaurants. Thank you!

This was our favourite of all 5 properties we stayed in Puglia. The staff were wonderful, even before we arrived their service was incredibly attentive. They catered for my gluten free requirements more than anywhere else I've ever stayed. The cave room was gorgeous, all modern conveniences, but sympathetically designed to retain the old world charm. We loved it, and highly recommend for your Matera stay.

Geniale Unterkunft und Service

Das r und die Inhaberin sind mega freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir wurden sehr gut informiert und während unserem Aufenthalt betreut mit Tips usw. Das Zimmer in einer Höhle von Sassi hat uns sehr gefallen. Das bediente Morgenessen war sehr reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Wir können das Hotel nur empfehlen.
