"This was hands down our favourite stay of our whole trip! The location was wonderful and central. The host was very helpful and told us lots about what to see and where to go. She was also helpful in checking in and in allowing us to hold our bags there until later in the afternoon. The interior of the room was so elegant and our balcony overlooked the street below. "The Pianelle Resort in heart of Sassi Caveoso was so convenient to so many sites and restaurants nearby. The view as well immediately at the doorstep was breathtaking. The room was spacious and luxurious with exposed stone walls and ceilings which provided an immersive experience if staying in the caves of Matera. The breakfast options too were delicious and highlighted the local produce and cuisine. We had an amazing 2 nights and would definitely return. "
