"Lovely stay at this boutique style hotel. We were given a room upgrade and enjoyed our retro suite very much. Suite was roomy, comfortable and quiet! Staff were professional, friendly and very helpful with local suggestions. Water, snacks, coffee and other beverages were available in lobby area. We did not take the buffet breakfast option but it looked very nice. The hotel was close to the train station, super convenient for getting to the airport. Taxis and Ubers are seriously expensive so suggest taking the train. We walked everywhere. Neighborhood is immediately adjacent to many points of interest. There are also abundant city trams right nearby. We will definitely come back to beautiful Munich and the Metropol Hotel. Thanks!"

"The room was very strange where the shower was in the open and not joined up as a separate room or separate closed section to the beds itself. We had booked a triple room and felt very strange not having private space to shower so be careful on room selection as this was not shown in the picture."
