"Overall, this flat offered all we were looking for, a great price close to all the sights we were hoping to see. I assumed because it was a 3rd floor unit that there was an elevator, I was wrong. My husband is disabled so my own fault for not asking the question prior to booking. We didn't spend much time going up and down the stairs, and grandkids came in handy to retrieve meal deliveries. I understand that DC is undergoing gentrification, but I did not expect to experience people hanging out on the corner just across the apartment all times of day and night. "Great location and extremely responsive hosts. Close to all the major museums/sites and within driving distance to those that are in outlying areas. Great locally owned restaurants and bodega/convenience store next door for those items you forgot to bring. We would definitely stay here again."
