"This property was a 5 minute walk from the Isehara station for easy transiting. There are different restaurant options and convenience stores nearby. The room was also very spacious and the staff were very nice and considerate. We loved the hotel experience. "

"Comfortable sized room and bathroom, slight smell but could have just been from the location of the window as there were other strong city smells nearby. The staff were very polite and helpful. The location is perfect for those who enjoy food and shopping, and the hotel is situated between two Family Marts a block away. "

"An older hotel with a bit of character, complete with physical room keys. Clean enough, with friendly staff, and it gets the job done for a simple stay. The location is on the quieter side of the station, so there are fewer restaurants right outside, but a convenience store is nearby for anything you need. Basic but perfectly serviceable for a night’s rest."

"The hotel is little bit old however, staffs are super polite and nice. The location was awesome. Great experience. When we go back to Yokohama, we will definitely stay this hotel again."
"The location is excellent—just 2–3 minutes’ walk to the train station and about 15 minutes to several museums. We also had a partial ocean view from our room. A shopping mall is only a few minutes away, with plenty of dining options.
My three-year-old daughter even dragged me to the Pepper Lunch restaurant downstairs right after her shower! There’s also a 7-Eleven on the first floor, which is very convenient.
Breakfast at the hotel is great. Since most museums open around 10–11 AM, you can enjoy a relaxed breakfast before heading out."
"Helped me see Mt. Fuji at sunrise.
There was a thick layer of fog forming right above the Yamanakako Lake in the early mornig, which seems to be a common thing in this season. Because this hotel was above the fog it didn't obstruct our view of the beautiful Mt. Fuji at sunrise. It was a very clear and sunny day, and the fog cleared up within a couple of hours after sunrise.
If you are aiming for sunrise picture, this hotel really enhaces your chance of catching the precious view. "
"Room was huge, spotless, and nice. Was a little perturbed by the number of giant hornets I saw, but that's the mountains in fall for you. Really historic and beautiful place.
Food options within the hotel were strange and annoyingly expensive - I get that it's a 5 star hotel but not everyone wants to shell out a ton of money to eat there and it's one of the furthest hotels from the main parts of town so it feels exploitative of a captive audience. Food was Ryokan style, which was fine, especially if you're looking for that kind of service. I've stayed in cheaper onsen Ryokans that had more convenience regarding food that didn't feel like I was getting baited."
