"The house is beautifully presented - clean, cosy and exactly as shown in the ad. Everything was supplied as needed, including a huge store of firewood for the open fire in the front room. Full kitchen is well organised, plenty of pots and pans, as well as a clean and serviceable newish BBQ on the back deck, under cover. The bird life in the garden was wonderful to see. A short and interesting walk across the river takes you straight in to the town. There are two EVIE charging bays on the median strip near cafes and shops. It was easy to communicate with Jen the owner and she was very interested in our feedback when we met her as we were packing up. Will definitely stay here the next time we’re in the area. "

"Our room was so much better than expected. We have stayed in many motels to be able to compare. It seemed to be newly renovated with a large bathroom and shower. Very tastefully done with great colours. The bed was comfortable with electric blankets keeping us warm from very cold nights. The main room was big with a lovely bay window. Over the road is a shopping centre with all your needs. Just a short walk around the corner and we were in the Main Street of Ararat. Staff were very friendly and check in was easy. Each of our three day stay, the staff replaced our towels for fresh dry ones and generally cleaned our room. All in all a great experience. Will definitely stay here on next visit to see family. "
