"We visited Malibu for the Pepperdine graduation. It is 5 minutes away from the school. The property is comfortable, clean, spacious, and minimalistic. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The host was very responsive. You can see the ocean from the kitchen windows which means you can also hear the cars on the PCH. This was the perfect spot for us and would stay here again."

"This was the perfect mini romantic weekend getaway from the busy city with such generous and sweet hosts (and their precious dogs!). The gorgeous backyard was spacious with so much room to lounge by the fire pits, run around, hit golf balls by the net, bbq, and much more. The pool and jacuzzi are both charming and relaxing, perfect for what we needed in a getaway. The guesthouse itself was also spacious and lovely, with plenty of room to feel comfortable and relaxed. "We stayed here for the marathon and it was the perfect home base. Very close to the beaches and state parks as well as downtown Ventura and grocery stores. The private backyard was a great place to relax post-marathon!"

"We really enjoyed a family girls trip at this wonderful place within short walking distance of the beach. We had everything we needed with very comfy beds and couches, a nice-sized dinner table, games to play, good kitchen appliances, and plenty of bathroom space. It was everything we wanted and needed! "everything exactly as advertised. very nice house in easy area of malibu. simple in/out , parking etc. gorgeous views from primary bedroom and living area. everything in good working order. my only feedback ( not worth a star removal, just insight) is that in the photos of the master bedroom, the sectional sofa was facing out towards the ocean. "We had a wonderful stay at Stephanie’s place. We booked very last minute while our house was being worked on. She was super responsive and accommodating. We were even able to arrange a late check out while they finished up work at our house. The neighborhood was lovely, we did a lot of walking through the harbor and the beach was beautiful. "My son was getting married over Memorial Day weekend on the beach in pierpont. This was the perfect place to stay! We also had our dog with us and the yards were absolutely awesome! The kids enjoyed the game room and played cornhole in the back yard. It’s close to restaurants and the marina park. The hosts were great with communication and ensuring we had anything and everything we needed. Highly recommend this place to stay in Ventura!"

Spent memorial day weekend here with some college friends from UCSB, we had never spent time in this neighborhood and it was so comfy, quiet, and beautiful to be located so close to the beach! This was also so well stocked, I would definitely come back and for a longer stay!"

"This is an absolutely charming, bungalow built in the 1950s. It was perfect for our family of five. We actually had Thanksgiving dinner on the back patio. The kitchen was outstanding with an amazing stove and an assortment of high-quality pots and pans. This place is just about a block from the beach so we could easily see the sunset after a short walk every evening. We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Ventura. What a great time to visit Southern California."
