"Very clean"

"The home was dated but clean and comfortable. Beds were good (although depiction of bunk bed on pictures was not accurate - that is where the master bedroom is located). The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking/serving breakfast in the morning and included a few provided items like coffee and sugar. Grocery store was close by. We used the laundry (5 to do one washer and dryer load) and it was fine. Communication with the host was great."

"The room was small, but very comfortable. Initially, I was a bit leery of the "no reception; we'll send you a code" check-in, but it went very smoothly. The code worked on all the doors it was supposed to work on, and I appreciated the triple-layer of code security - outside door, door to the floor, door to the room. Dorothy's is ideally situated, and easy walking distance to attractions in the area, in addition to the Red line train and numerous bus lines. If I had to ding Dorothy's on anything, it's this: Coffeemate isn't cream and doesn't do the same in your coffee in the morning as does half-and-half. "

"I am giving this place a 5 star review for two main reasons. The host was very accommodating and easy to get a hold of which to me, is a big deal. Secondly, the neighborhood is amazing. The best part of Chicago!"

"We absolutely loved staying here! Tony was super responsive with questions we had and it is just a block from Wrigley Field. It worked great for catching the L to go downtown. Wrigley Christmas market and shopping/eating on Southport. We only stayed 2 night but plan to stay 3-nights next time!!We can’t wait to be back and have this be our annual Christmas get away. We had 5 kids (age 7-19) and 4 adults. Worked out perfectly. The games in the basement were also perfect to help pass the time. "
