Fantastic!
The little beach house was the perfect location for going to town, going to the beach, and getting to the train station. We were there over 2 weeks and was able to have a home base while exploring other towns and hikes.

Great location!
My wife, young son and I stayed at this beautiful cute little house just steps away from the beach in Monterosso al Mare. The hostess, Ms. Mariagrazia, was exceptionally friendly, helpful and warm. She made us feel very welcome immediately. Throughout our stay, we would reach out to her and she would respond reasonably quick with helpful advice. She owns a store that is steps away from the house so speaking with her in person or via phone/text was easy. The location of this house is probably the best selling point. It is steps away from the beach and is a great access point to it. The house itself is cute. There is a small living area downstairs with a small bathroom for the entire house. The bathroom is reasonable. The shower is a little tiny but it was not that big a deal for us. There is a small kitchen with reasonable cookware. The place was quite clean and tidy. The living area and two bedrooms upstairs each have an air conditioning unit. They are functional and they work well which was needed during the time we were there (July). Upstairs, there are 2 bedrooms each with 1 double bed. The living area has a good-sized TV and the Internet, via Wi-Fi, was fast and reliable for our purposes. We really enjoyed our stay here! The biggest selling points were the great location and Mariagrazia. We would easily stay here again!

Great Little House!
We had a wonderful stay here! The location was great since it was off the beaten path, but close to the beach, shopping & restaurants. Mariagrazia was very helpful when we got there and also helped us figure out where things were in the village.

Avery beautiful little fisherman’s house. Right in the village. It was also right beside hiking path. Nothing short of wonderful. Mariagracia was a kind help soul. I hope to stay again. One thing, staircase is steep so able body needed.

Excellent location just off the main piazza, quiet side street, very safe. 2 bedrooms on 2nd floor are clean minimalist design with fresh clean linens, opening windows, and ample space for luggage and the double beds. House is quaint, small, but perfect for the 2 of us ladies for a few nights; kitchen is well supplied, washer worked great! No dryer but there is an excellent outside rack and pins. Walk to restaurants and beach is 5 mins, you can hear the waves from the bedrooms. Owner is lovely, helpful, and speaks English well. We loved our stay!

Lovely Apartment!
The location of this apartment is amazing, with everything within walking distance. Apartment was clean, terrace had a great view and made a nice place to relax in the evening with a glass of wine. Washing machine was also available for use. Our host Gaia was fantastic, very kind and helpful. We couldn’t have found a better host or location. Would highly recommend staying in this apartment for your holiday in Florence. Thanks Gaia

Cute and comfortable house
Super cute and cozy little house in a great location at the edge of the old town. Just a few minutes walk down to the beach and about a 10-minute walk from the train station. Easy check in and out by the hostess, who was very kind and always available if we had any questions. We loved the easy going vibe of Monterosso and would happily return to this house for a stay!

Mariagrazia is a fantastic host. The location is amazing - right in the historic section of Monterrosso al Mare. Great restaurants nearby, the sound of church bells on the hour, right next to the steps to the Vernazza/Cinque Terre trail, and a 5 minute walk to the free beach. The accommodations were great - excellent working air-conditioning and washer. We highly recommend this place to any staying in Cinque Terre.

Wonderful House
My 2 daughters and I stayed here. A 7-10 minute walk from the train stop. The house has clean and comfortable. Kitchen was equipped. The hostess was amazing. She is super friendly. She owns a shop in town where we met. She walked us over to the house and showed us around. It is steps from the beach. Just perfect for 3-4 people. I suppose 1-2 more could sleep on the couch.

We were very tired upon arriving at the train station and had a hard time orienting ourselves but Mariagracia was very kind and patient! Just turn left when you exit the station and head for the tunnel! The little house is so nice and they have been very smart about using the space. The stairs to the bedrooms are very narrow so just beware. If you are someone who needs to get up for the bathroom during the night, it may be difficult. The only things we wish it had were hand soap, extra tp and some hooks/ racks for towels. But there are very minor and we loved the proximity to the beach and many cafes!

Perfect place by the beach
This was the perfect little place our family of four! It was close to everything (beach, trail, restaurants and shops)! Our host Mariagrazie was lovely, she even got me ice when I sprained my ankle on the cobblestones (be careful and don’t miss any steps!). We had a great stay and will recommend to others visiting.

When you arrive Mariagrazia will greet you like family! She was so lovely and helpful to give us recommendations and help us storing our bags after checkout. The place is clean and very central location, and Monterosso is definitely our favorite of the 5 towns. Would stay again!

Perfect location with outstanding customer service
We loved this apartment. It is in the perfect location, right next to the hiking trail to Vernazza. The train station is only a 5 minute walk away. Mariagrazia is a wonderful host who was very helpful before and during our trip. Her English is very good and she knows everything about Cinque Terre. I recommend Mariagrazia's apartment to everyone who wants to see Cinque Terre

Great house in awesome location
We were very happy with this home it was in a lovely area of old town and very convenient right off of the center area. Our host Maria Grazia was super helpful and a very nice lady she had a shop nearby and answered all the questions that we had. If you were thinking of staying in this town I wouldn’t look any further than this house it works very well for two couples. Thank you so much Mariagrazia

Our family of 4 loved her home. Highly recommend if you are planning to travel to Monterroso. Host was very gracious. Mariagrazia communicated prior to our arrival and gave us excellent directions on where to meet. She took time to walk us to the house and told us everything we needed to know regarding the town and our stay .Her home has everthing you will need and is very clean and comfortable.Her home is steps away from hiking trails, beach and Old Town Square.We hope to travel again to Monterosso and this is the best place to stay. Thanks again to host for her kindness ,hope to be back soon .

Cute little unit, close to the old town centre, rail station and walking trail.
We loved our stay at the cute and cozy Borgo Antico and the village of Monterosso al mare. The unit is as pictured and had everything for a comfortable stay for two. Mariagrazia and her sister were very helpful and easy to communicate with. Access to the upper floor bedrooms is a bit steep and narrow stairs and could be an issue if you are not that agile, but it was not an issue for us. I would highly recommend staying there and would love to come back again. Thank-you for the wonderful stay and memories Mariagrazia. Regards Brett

Mariagrazia was a lovely host, greeting us, checking us in, showing us all the details of the apartment. It's very tiny but very well designed to maximize space. The location is perfect because it's just around the corner from high-traffic areas, but still quiet. There was a perfect hot, forceful shower. Also good WIFI. Those things are important to me.

Amazing host!

This wonderful apartment is conveniently located in old town Monterosso, a ten minute walk from the train station and steps away from the Monterosso-to-Vernazza trail head. Mariagrazia was a gracious and accommodating host.

Great place to stay in Monterosso
We booked this apartment as a home base for our stay in the Cinque Terre area. Highly recommend this apartment! It was exactly as advertised. Only steps from the main square of the Old Town, yet still nice and quiet. Well-equipped with everything we needed. Steps from the beach, shops, restaurants, 2 minutes to the ferry stop and an easy 10 minute walk to the train station - very convenient for all the town-hopping we wanted to do for the week we were there. Our host, Mariagrazia gave us some great recommendations during our visit. This location serves as a very comfortable, very convenient home base during your time in Cinque Terre.

Perfect base to explore cinque terre
Mariagrazia was an amazing host. Very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Set in the old Town section of Montersso a short walk to the train station. The unit has everything you need and the beds are super comfortable. Pack a small bag as only locals can get a car in town and you will have to carry your luggage the 800m or so to/from the car park above town.

An intimate and authentic experience in an Italian village.
Our host was a local shop owner and knew all the best places to buy things and what to look at. The area was quiet compared to the heights of summer however the weather was lovely and we missed out on nothing. We like to be able to cook and at least have breakfast at home. The amenities were quite adequate. This apartment has quite difficult stairs to climb to get up to the bedrooms. This is often the case in Europe. We loved this little home away from home and would recommend it to those wanting an authentic experience.

Fabulous location, easy walking from train station with luggage
My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights as a base for Cinque Terre. The walking distance from the train station to the apartment is really easy, a couple of steps but all the way flat unlike where some other apartments are located in different villages. Plus the start of the walk from Monterossa to Vernazza is pretty much 5 steps from the apartment. The apartment is very spacious and very clean with 2 large bedrooms, refrigerator and cooking provisions if needed but we ate out as there are restaurants on the doorstep. Mariagrazia the owner was lovely and provided very easy instructions to get us to her shop and was also very generous in allowing luggage storage on the day of departure if needed. I would definitely recommend both the apartment and staying in Monterosso as part of a Cinque Terre holiday.

Maria was a wonderful host! Always available for any questions or concerns.
The properties location is excellent. Close to the beautiful beach and delicious restaurants & shops. My only complaint is the stairs from the upstairs bedrooms to the low floor are extremely narrow, steep with no railing. Be sure to use the bathroom before going to bed. You will not want haul luggage up to the bedrooms. The washer is older and dryer is actually a rack that you can hang clothes on.

I’m sorry that those stairs inside my apartment was an issue for you. However, I suggest you next time you make a reservation, to check all the pictures and details about the place you are going to rent, in order to avoid those kind of problems.I’ll definitelly keep in mind your comment and for the future, I’ll start to suggest my apartment to joung and athletic customers or any other guests that doesn’t make a big deal about claimbing 8 little narrow steps. About the washing machine, the fact that we decide not to by one with touch screen in order to simmplify the use to our guests, it doesn't mean it's an old one, we didn't buy in the day before your arrival but it's ony few years old and it works great.The dryer is never mentioned in the description of the apartmentand; hanging chothes outside for drying its something that, in Italy, everybody do, because it's part of our used and costume and lots of tourists love to take pictures at it, too bad you didn't appreciate the spirit of it.

Perfect location and Wonderful host!
This home is the perfect location for exploring Monterosso, spending time at the beach and hiking the Cinque Terre trails. The host owns a gift shop steps away and was extremely welcoming and kind. She also carries everything you may need for your travels in her store which is nice for replenishing your travel supplies or picking up a souvenir. The home really is less than a block from the private and public beach. We rented two lounge chairs and an umbrella at the private beach for 25 Euro- the cost is for all day and gives you access to a bathroom, changing rooms and an onsite bar and restaurant. The water is beautiful and the beach also rents paddle boats and kayaks. Our family had a wonderful time at the beach and another day, hiking to Vernazza. The hiking trail is literally right outside the rental home door! The area to ride a boat is also close by and the home is walking distance from the Monterosso train station. The home is equipped with a kitchen, washing machine, modern bathroom, family room with tv, and two large bedrooms upstairs with lots of storage areas and closets. We loved this part of our trip and can’t wait to come back!

The landlady was so helpful. We really enjoyed her. The house is more than adequate but the stairs up to the bedrooms are very steep and no hand rails. It was very clean and everything worked. This little house is right by the trail to Vernazza and right downtown. The apartment is about a half mile from the railway station and very close to the boat dock. I would stay here again.

Mariagrazia was a wonderful host, she took her time to explain where things were in town and best places to go. When there was a problem with the shower, she fixed it immediately. Perfect house for exploring Monterosso al Mare and all of Cinque Terre!
This super-clean and roomy house stands independently...no upstairs or downstairs neighbors. There is space to relax (living room) and two super comfy and clean bedrooms (with views) upstairs. The kitchen is well-equipped and everything is in working order. The upgraded windows and shutters mean you can open them up for the view and breeze, or close them to any noise. It's a great place to feel part of the neighborhood, as it's right off the piazza and harbor area, and next to the walking trail to Vernazza. Mariagrazia is so kind and friendly, and as a Monterosso native, can offer suggestions to explore Cinque Terre and beyond. She responds to any and all requests very promptly. We found excellent restaurants, beaches and shops in Monterosso, and really enjoyed the trails, the ocean views, and the boat/train connections to other towns. We would go to Monterosso again and stay at Mariagrazie's place again!

You can't beat the location with Monterosso having the most nightlife and restaurant options, as well as close proximity to the train station and the hiking trail. The house was clean and well appointed. I would highly recommend this property.

Even better than the photos!
We stayed in the house for a few days at the end of summer. It was more spacious than the photos illustrate and more modern too :) The bedrooms are both a good size with lots of storage space. The only improvement would have been if a couple of basic amenities were provided such as cooking oil and more than one loo role etc but of course that's just being picky! The little house is 2 mins walk from the old town's shops, bars and restaurants and is a ten min walk along the coast to the train station. I'd 100% recommend staying with Maria who is lovely & flexible on check-in/check-out times. Thank you!
