Wonderful location in the heart of Montepulciano. Large, comfortable room with an amazing view. Venture up to the rooftop for an even better experience. The only concern was that the air conditioning was not operating, perhaps because the weather had just started to heat up.. It was not overly hot when we visited, but a little cool down would have been nice.

This historic hotel is a wonderful location for touring Montepulciano and Tuscany. The staff was eager to help with dinner and vineyard tour reservations. Our room was off the breakfast room and we didn't hear the other guests at all.

Lovely hotel. Right next to the historic town center and extremely close to the wineries and great restaurants. The room was spacious, clean and provided a lovely view of the valley. The family that runs the hotel are so kind and happy to answer questions and are very accommodating. We really enjoyed it and I highly recommend the hotel.

The view from our very spacious room was stunning. Parking is indeed free. You can drive close to the hotel, unload your bags, and then descend to the designated parking area to leave your car. The hotel is very private, and we had what felt like a private entrance. Sometimes it's nice to have a bit more contact with the staff to learn about the town, but this was not the case here. The only disappointment was the breakfast. It was not included, but for ten euros I would think they could have made more effort. There were few guests and could easily have asked what we might like, allowing them to have fewer, but fresh options.

Excellent stay in very unique town!

This hotel is so historical, be prepared for lots of artifacts to observe. There is an elevator, but expect so steps. The location is excellent in Montepulciano, right on the Grand Plaza.

This family run (I think 7 generations!) hotel is quaint, cozy, wonderful and some rooms have amazing views. Thoroughly enjoyable and we'd stay there again. Very good location but note that parking is a hike - typical of any place in historical area of the city. Excellent staff, and very helpful.

This property is the hidden gem of the Tuscany region and is a must stay for anyone visiting the area. Our room was large enough for 3 adults (loft area with a single bed) and the view from the suite was spectacular. Breakfast was also fantastic (not included but worth the 10 euro per person). This is a family run small hotel with great staff and service. 5 star review!
