The property is beautiful and sits in stunning grounds, which we thoroughly explored thanks to the walk recommended by Stuart. We were made to feel very welcome by Ben at reception. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfy. We dined at the restaurant and had an exceptional meal. Stuart was once again on hand to recommend a local ale and take us through the vegan options. "This is a cracking flat within a short walk of Dumfries town centre. From the outside, the flats don’t look too inspiring, but it’s clearly been renovated recently and it’s been done really nicely. The two rooms are pretty much identical doubles, and the living room/kitchen is a good size. Nice views of the river from most rooms, and a lovely small balcony coming off the main living area. Would definitely come back if in the area."
