"Beautiful & impressive stately hotel in lovely surroundings , with well-appointed & well-furnished rooms. Got a very friendly welcome, and had requested a room with a view , if possible - and happily got one over looking the rolling countryside towards the Solway Firth. Liftingstane Farmhouse

Liftingstane Farmhouse

10/10 Excellent
"Liftingstane farmhouse was excellent, clean and with everything we needed, a home from home. Plenty bedding and towels. Kitchen also well equipped. Well catered for our dog, with bowls, poo bags, treats and towels. Worth mentioning that dogs aren't permitted in the bedrooms, which we weren't aware of from the website.WiFi was a good speed which was an added bonus as we needed to work remotely for a few days, plus EE 4G signal was good in the area too. The owners were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, and popped in to make sure we had settled in ok and had everything we needed."

"Great place! The whole place was nice, really clean and we loved the furnishings. It was also very cosy, and what a comfy bed. Loved it. Really nice touches like the Welcome Pack and the luxury soaps. To add it was also nice and quiet, just what we needed. If staying in the area in the future I will rebook on the basis above. Well done and thank you for providing a great place to stay. "
