"This hotel has great rooms for cheap prices. Our room had a complication but the hotel staff upgraded our room no questions asked and were very apologetic for the issue. 4 stars. Hotel had fire pits in the lobby and blankets to use while enjoying the evenig drink as it was in the 40's temperature wise. Public bath was great as well to relax in after a day of sightseeing "

Arcade shops and restaurants on your way to the Kyoto station are a plus, you can buy nice Omiyage. "

"Very flash hotel for the price we paid, so many amenities and got our room upgraded for free which was a bonus. Friendly staff, and very clean hotel. Perfect location 5 min walk to Kyoto Station, they offer a shuttle to the station every 20 mins as well. To save on rubbish they provide a self serve water and ice machine on every floor and provide a bottle and an ice bucket which I thought was very cool "
