Although the room was a bit dated it was very clean and spacious. We only stayed one night but would have been a great room for a longer stay. It had a full kitchen. And the hotel is in a great location.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was great.. just a short walk to the beach and within easy walking distance to great restaurants and cafes. The beach access was a huge plus, and having a washer and dryer in the unit made things so convenient for our family. The staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating — they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, a great value and perfect spot for a Miami Beach getaway. We’d definitely stay here again!

The room was a good size plenty of space to spread out and move around. The bed was small in the bedroom. They should put king size beds but it is not. They did accommodate one hour extra for check out at no additional charge which was nice. There is no onsite parking and it is difficult to unload/ load your luggage due to limit space in front of the hotel. The only major issue for us was the ice cold water. We could not shower on the morning because there was zero warm or hot water. Only ice cold water. For this reason I would not stay there again.

Staying at this hotel was a good choice. Near free-trolly stop. A CVS is located across the street. One block from beach. And beach service is included on price (umbrella and 2 chairs). Affordable price. Room has a full kitchen.

Unbeatable location and huge room

Our stay was perfect! The location can’t be beat with a block from the beach and CVS right next door. They also have a small bar and a little market inside the hotel which was great. They were very accommodating and the room was huge and had everything we needed! Highly recommend!

The hotel is spacious and true to the photos. The rooms are cleaned every 2-4 days. It's been recently updated but there are minor repairs that they could keep up with better. The beach chair and umbrella service was great and the manager was the nicest person I met in Miami.

The rooms were cleaned every 2-4 days and weee sanitary. We did move a sofa and noticed dust in the corner. Also the floors always remain slightly sandy. It would be great to give each room a broom and dustpan. There were plenty of towels. The beach chair service was great. Staff was responsive to requests but not overly helpful. That seems to be the Miami Beach status quo! It was a good value if you make reservations in advance.

I stayed at this property as I was in town for a weeding. It’s very clean and the room is beautiful with a full kitchen, washer, dryer, iron ironing board etc. the location of the property is amazing ! It’s literally steps from the beach so you will not need to pay for transportation the beach! You can ask the front desk for a ticket and when you take it to the beach they give you free chats and an umbrella. The only negative about this property is the bar is not functional so if the bar is a needed perk for you this won’t be a sport for you as the bar is only there for decoration. You are steps away from a bar so it wasn’t a big deal the bar is right by the beach. The other negative was the toilet in our room would not flush properly. I would stay here again it was a amazing stay.

Large room that is great value for the low price compared to other hotels on Collins Ave. Probably because I'd visited off-season just after hurricane Milton, there was no real reception or concierge, and getting in the first time wasn't possible without a keyfob or a guest letting me in. The staffer upon my exit only spoke spanish and had difficulty letting me know that my checkout/bill would be emailed. Other than that, the room was huge and clean with full kitchen and laundry facilities, and consideration had been made for customer safety as "under/over door attacks" weren't possible as hotel doors were made more like plugs.

We enjoyed our stay at Westover Arms. We had the largest unit - our unit was very spacious and well-equipped (full kitchen and also a washer/dryer). The lighting was well thought-out, unlike many hotels where the lighting is too dark. The layout of the furniture was practical and the bed was very comfortable. I am not sure about the sofabed as I didn't use it. The staff was responsive but not really friendly, and there was usually just one person at the door. Beach towels and coolers were available to take to the beach, which was only a 5 minute walk away, and at the beach there were dedicated umbrellas, which made it a very good beach experience. We were able to walk to South Beach, though it is a pretty long walk. There is a CVS next door that has pretty much anything you might need, including a good selection of sandwiches, salads, cut fruit, etc. My only complaints would be that there is a bit of noise - honking - coming from the street (though the sound-proofing is pretty good).

Great location you can make work but…

When we arrived some letters of the lighted sign was out. We left 3 days later and all of “Westover” lights were burnt out. The place was decent and had a great full size kitchen equipped for cooking. If you’re planning on working here the internet is horrible and spotty at best. The Murphy bed is ok with flat pillows. Don’t bother putting the bed up to sit on as the couch underneath is from the 1980’s and pretty questionable. The lobby is stark bright white and devoid of soul. The floors in the unit are never mopped and dirty upon arrival. We asked the front desk for a broom and told him that our floors were dirty. No apology, he just handed us a broom. 2 of the most uncomfortable kitchen stools ever. The Venetian blinds keep out zero sunlight so bring an eye mask. The fan in the bathroom connected to the light is oddly loud. The lighting in the unit is blindingly bright. Elevator sounded like it crashed upon landing on the first floor every time. Don’t use the washer/dryer in unit. Clothes came out dirtier than when they went in and we had some pretty dirty clothing from outdoor excursions. Location is great but overall the hotel is pretty underwhelming. Decent price considering the location but I wouldn’t stay here again.

This is my second time staying here. It's a great location and easy access to my work meetings. Its wonderful to have a small kitchen and washer/ dryer and it's quite spacious. To cross the road and be right on the beach is amazing plus the beach walk is fabulous.

This hotel is a gem for families traveling with kids. There’s a kitchen in the rooms so I was able to cook. There’s no pool, no restaurant onsite, during the time we stayed, bartender was MIA. The front desk agent made me a drink. When we communicated with staff they were nice.
